Lost in the Fog: Happy Halloween! NPOD Viewer Matt Keane submitted this spooky picture of Kloochman Rock jutting up out of the fog in western Washington. Kloochman Rock is a volcanic intrusion of pyroxene-rich andesite that formed when liquid hot magma was forced up into a fissure where it cooled and hardened.
