Douglas Falls: "Douglas Falls is a beautiful waterfall in Thomas, West Virginia, and is located next to Blackwater Falls State Park. What makes this waterfall unique is the orange stained rocks beneath the falls. While this makes it a great subject photographically speaking, it is also tragic because the staining is from coal and iron ore pollution in the river. Consequently there is no aquatic life found in this river corridor."
