Thank you Laura, you are very sweet. I just saw the most glorious, huge Poinciana tree in Brazil and had to think of you. Hugs. xo

What an extraordinary bird with a beak that seems too big for it. But beautiful it is and a great close encounter with your camera.

This kookaburra is pleased that he got a mention on NPOD. Yes Greg, cheeky they are, and out-do any alarm clock for waking one in the wee hours. But I don't think they deserve the name: laughing jackass. :)

Cheeky critters, aren't they Christine? It always brings a smile when I hear them launch into their raucous cackle!

I love this photo, Christine. How could you resist such a "sweet" face? The flowering tree/shrub in the background provides a nice color accent.

What a great picture Christine! It's amazing how animals know who they can trust to get that close to, & even eat out of your hand! All the critters love you! Hugs for a great day! :):)
