Prairie Smoke Over Kah Tai Prairie: In the middle of Port Townsend, WA, it would be easy to drive by a 1.4 acre patch of wildflowers with only a passing glance. If you take the time to investigate further, you'll find that it is one of the last patches of "wild" prairie that used to dominate the Kah Tai Valley. This little prairie is full of beautiful flowers, like the Prairie Smoke or Old Man's Whiskers (Geum Triflorum) shown here.
